CNC Horizontal & Vertical Turning

CNC Turning is one of our fundamental capabilities and can be performed either horizontally or vertically depending upon raw material, size and weight.

Our Vertical Turning Lathes (or VTLs) hold extremely tight tolerances and are ideal for large diameter, heavy castings and forgings.

We turn diameters up to 91″ in product groups such as disc brakes, energy field parts, and pump housings; parts are made in materials ranging from grey iron to high strength hardened steels.

Our horizontal turning department is predominantly Mazak machinery capable of swinging 32″ with lengths up to 120″.

Our smaller machines swing up to 16.5″ and range from 40″ centers to chuckers capable of running parts as small as a needle valve.
